Customer Service This course series is designed to develop the necessary skills for success as a customer service provider. Students will explore various service situations and be introduced to the best practices and principles of customer service and their application to business. Students will earn industry credentials as a guest room attendant, front desk representative and guest services, and be eligible for an entry level position in the hospitality industry or in any customer service setting. Cybersecurity This course series prepares students for stackable industry certifications in CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+. Students participate in virtual labs, learn to design and implement functional networks, configure and manage network devices, and routing and switching. Students also learn to assess the security posture of an enterprise environment, implement appropriate security solutions, and monitor and secure hybrid environments. Construction Core Pre-Apprenticeship This course series prepares students to enter the construction industry by establishing a foundation in construction skills and safety and preparing students to move into their specialization area of choice. Students will learn basic safety, construction math, hand tools, power tools, construction drawings, OSHA-10 safety standards and job readiness. Pre-Cyber Security This course series prepares students for stackable industry certifications in CompTIA IT Foundations (ITF+) and CompTIA A+ that lead to employment as a computer service technician and advanced training opportunities. Students learn to troubleshoot and solve critical computer service challenges, build and configure hardware, install and update software, implement base-line security skills for IT professionals, and learn how to support basic IT infrastructure and networking. Students will be eligible for a position as an entry-level computer service technician or helpdesk technician.
